Eliza is web-based chat bot with video game and webcam components.
Eliza is based off of a program written by Jospeh Weizenbaum in 1966 that sought to use natural language processing to mimic a psychotherapy session, replacing the doctor with a machine.
In this version, the roles of the computer program as therapist and the human user as patient are switched. Eliza's user is shown reflected back in their webcam, as they themselves become characters in her session.
